Two people have been taken to hospital following a three-alarm blaze at a home in Etobicoke.
Emergency crews were called to a home on Clearbrooke Circle in the area of Islington Avenue and Elmhurst Drive around 2:30 p.m. Saturday.
When they arrived they found a fully engulfed structure with heavy flames and heavy smoke coming from the first and second floors. Police indicated at least one person was trapped inside.
Police say the fire has spread to a second home.
Paramedics say two people have been taken to hospital. No word on what condition they were in as they were being transported.
